History Reimagined
For most of the last century, the news of St. Louis was written and printed inside this downtown landmark, the longtime home of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
Today the building has been reimagined as an event venue that keeps its working-press character intact. Original elements from the century-old Goss printing press anchor the spaces, from the finishes in the Offset Bar to the restored press that gives the Goss Lounge its name. Floor-to-ceiling windows, exposed structure and modern a/v sit alongside the industrial history.
Six dynamic spaces open the building to events of every size. The Press Hall seats up to 600 beneath six large-format displays, while the Paperboat Gallery, The 900 and Council Room host everything from gallery receptions to seminars for 15. The Press Hall Patio adds a private outdoor lounge in the heart of downtown.
The Post pairs a real piece of St. Louis history with the amenities a modern event needs, and stands as one of downtown’s most distinctive places to gather.
