Growing up in Washington, Missouri, I have been brought up to love entertaining family and friends. I find it exciting to investigate new recipes, adjust them to be my own and prepare them for others to enjoy. I like to try new and different spices and flavors, as well as, new ingredients to make the meal mean more than just eating the boring usual fare.

My other passion besides cooking and good food would be traveling. I have traveled over much of the United States. I have also been fortunate to travel abroad to Germany, Austria, and China. Through my travels, I have learned much about other cultures — their traditions, food, and everyday life. I can't wait to see where I go next — Egypt and more of Europe are at the top of the list!

I graduated from Missouri State University with an Entertainment Management degree. After graduating college, I had the great opportunity to manage a bed and breakfast in New Haven, Missouri. I found my dream job with Butler's Pantry two years ago, and have had the opportunity to work with some of our venues, the Piper Palm House & Palladium Saint Louis, as well as doing some private parties. I've been able to see some of our larger events come together from start to finish. I believe "to entertain" means more than just picking menu items at random, it should be an experience. It's exciting to coordinate an event with a client and watch their vision come true.
